Notre-Dame Cathedral

On April 15, 2019, a major fire devastated the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. After five years of reconstruction work, the UNESCO world heritage site reopens its doors to the public on December 8, a day after a grand ceremony. Around 250 businesses and hundreds of craftsmen, architects and other professionals worked on the restoration inside the medieval cathedral, which is considered a global symbol of Christianity and a Gothic masterpiece.
