King Charles III
King Charles III was crowned monarch of the United Kingdom and 14 Commonwealth realms at London’s Westminster Abbey on May 6, 2023. The coronation officially ushered in a new era – which will be known as the Carolean era – for the British monarchy, which has its first king since 1952 following the record 70-year reign of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
